Pokémon Pokopia Guide: Where to Find all the Dolls

If you are hitting the late-game crafting wall in Pokémon Pokopia, you already know the struggle of hunting down rare materials like Pokémetal, Gold Ore, and Stardust. Farming your main island will only get you so far. The real secret to securing endless late-game resources is unlocking Dream Islands.

To access these resource-heavy zones, you need to track down specific plushies scattered across the map. For players deep into Pokémon Pokopia, where to find dolls quickly becomes the most important question to answer. This complete Pokémon Pokopia guide will walk you through exactly how to unlock the flight mechanic and pinpoint every single doll location.

How to Unlock Dream Islands & Find Drifloon

Before you can actually use a doll, you need a pilot. Your ticket to the Dream Islands is Drifloon, but he won’t show up until you have unlocked the Withered Wasteland biome.

To reach him, head left from the Withered Wasteland Pokémon Center. You will find a path completely blocked by rocks with a Squirtle standing nearby. Speak to Squirtle and finish his quick quest to clear the debris. Once the path is open, continue straight to the western beach.

You will spot Drifloon floating around the shoreline. He won’t move into your town just by talking to him; you have to build his preferred habitat first.

After settling in, Drifloon will mention sensing “doll vibes” coming from the eastern side of the wasteland. This interaction officially triggers the doll-hunting phase.

  • Build the “Riding Warm Updrafts” Habitat: Place three lit campfires in a row anywhere near him on the beach.
  • Recruit Drifloon: Once the habitat registers as complete, speak to Drifloon again. He will officially move into your town.

(Pro-Tip: The doll you choose locks your Dream Island biome for the entire day. The massive upside is that you can make infinite return trips to that exact island to strip-mine it for rare materials until the server’s daily reset.)

All Pokémon Doll Locations

Dolls dictate which biome Drifloon flies you to. Whichever doll you place down locks the Dream Island to that specific biome for the entire day. The massive advantage here? You can strip-mine the island, fly home, empty your pockets, and go back infinitely until the daily server reset.

There are seven specific dolls you can use. You can sometimes find them by breaking glowing blocks, inside red Poké Balls in the overworld, or eventually buying them from the Palette Town PC Shop (once you raise the Environment Level).

If you want to find your first dolls immediately, head to the northwest section of Bleak Beach:

  • Eevee Doll (Wasteland Island): Found inside the ruins on an island in the northwest section of Bleak Beach. Unlocks the Wasteland Dream Island for Leppa Berries, Vine Rope, and Glowing Mushrooms.
  • Pikachu Doll (Ocean Island): Found opposite the Eevee Doll in another set of Bleak Beach ruins. Unlocks the Ocean Dream Island for Twine, Sea Glass Fragments, and Seashells.

The rest of the dolls are found randomly in overworld treasure spots, Poké Balls, or purchased later at the PC Shop:

Clefairy Doll (Rock Peak Island): Yields Copper Ore, Limestone, and Cave Mushrooms.

Arcanine Doll (Volcanic Island): The absolute best doll for mid-game mining. Yields Iron Ore, Gold Ore, and Glowing Stone.

Dragonite Doll (Sky Island): Essential for late-game crafting. Yields Pokémetal Fragments, Wastepaper, and Crystal Fragments.

Ditto Doll & Substitute Doll (Random Island): These two simply drop you onto a randomly selected Dream Island.

Preparing for Your Dream Island Run

Before you actually click the doll, check your inventory. Dream Islands are strictly for resource hoarding, so you need max bag space.

  • Empty Your Pockets Leave your extra decor and random base-building junk in your chests. You only need your tools and food.
  • Food & Stamina Ditto’s Rock Smash eats a ton of stamina, especially when you’re chain-mining ores. If you hit 0 stamina, you’re stuck. Cook some high-tier meals (use Mosslax buffs if you have them) or just bring a massive stack of berries to keep your bar topped off.

Maximizing Your Loot

Once you load into the island, skip the normal trees and rocks. You’re here for the good stuff.

  • Rush the Caves: Every island has a couple of caves. B-line straight for them.
  • Grab the Rares: Caves are the only spot in the game to get Stardust. Smash every node for Stardust, Pokémetal Fragments, and Gold Ore.

When your inventory is full, just fly back to base, dump your loot in a chest, and click the doll again. You can literally loop this same island on repeat until the daily server reset.
